The tag line of my blog is Books, Dating, and Other Long stories. And that’s exactly what you’ll find here. As I was celebrating my twenty-seventh birthday back in October, freshly off of a one-sided heartbreak and welcoming in my late twenties, I realized that if I wanted to be a writer well then I might as well should. So, this blog that I’ve had since I was in college was brought back to life. I don’t know if I’ll make it happen, as I’ve tried so many times before, but I might as well give it a real and true go of it. Because, after all, there is no time like the present.

Here’s what I can promise you if you decide to come on this journey with me.

1. Hilarious stories about being a single twenty-seven year old in the biggest small town you’ve never heard of.
2. Updates on all of my random hobbies. (Lego building, running, baking, writing, and reading just to name a few)
3. Finding the joy in the every day.
4. Honesty in what it’s like to feel like you’re never quite in the right place at the right time.
5. Hopefully a book.

So, if you’re up for the journey, grab a mug of tea and a cozy blanket, because this will be nothing short of a wild ride. And I, for one, am looking forward to seeing where it takes us.
